EA Sports is now just days away from announcing the long-rumored EA Sports UFC 4. A promotional poster for the upcoming UFC 251 fight, states that the upcoming fight will host the reveal of the game on July 11.

You can see from the official UFC Poster for UFC 251 Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, below that the “official Reveal UFC 4” is shown in the bottom left corner.

There have been many leaks that UFC 4 was in the making, with slips from UFC Commentator Jon Anik and sports game writer Brian Mazique stating that this project was in full motion. Mazique also stated that UFC 4 would also be available on PlayStation 4 and XBOX ONE, in addition to the Next Gen launched of the PlayStation 5 and XBOX series X.

The reveal will be shown on one of the most highly anticipated events that the UFC have put on for a long time. The event, dubbed “Fight Island,” will feature fighters such as Max Holloway, Jose Aldo and the UFC Championship showdown between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal. A packed card in Abu Dhabi, the perfect stage to announce the latest edition of the biggest MMA game out there.

Headliner Jorge Masvidal is rumoured to feature on the cover of EA Sports UFC 4, with a possible leak of him alongside UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesenya. However, it is worth highlighting that there has been no official release as of yet.

In addition to the cover rumours, there are also game modes that are circulation on Social Media which include what seems to be a “Backyard Rules” mode. Although this seems slightly unlikely to happen, I wouldn’t put this past the UFC, as this is where the franchise started off in the first place. Also, in other EA Sports titles such as FIFA, there have been many attempts to incorporate a “Street” version of the game with the mode Volta, which we won’t mention.

Wherever the new title takes us, one thing is for sure, there will be a whole host of new fighters added to the roster for this game. In addition to the legends of the UFC Franchise such as Conor McGregor, Joanna Jędrzejczyk and Jon Jones, there will be an influx of stars that has risen through the ranks since the previous game launched in 2018.

We would expect to see the likes of Masvidal, Kron Gracie and Paulo Costa. However, there are also rumours that special additions to the game would be Boxing Heavyweights very own Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, although yet again, this is yet to be announced.
