The Top 5 Things To Do At Gamescom 2019 Before You Leave | STEALTH

Can you believe that Gamescom 2019 is coming to an end on Saturday? It feels as though we have just landed in Cologne and put our Nintendo Switch™ away in our STEALTH EVA Carry Case, ready for our exclusive gameplay of 2K’s Borderlands 3 and a demo of FIFA20!

But as you may already know Gamescom offers much more than just gameplay of the biggest anticipated games this year and next! Which is why we wanted to give you a guide of the Top 5 things that you need to do before the end of Gamescom 2019!

1. Indie Area Booth Livestream with Game Developers

If you haven’t already then we strongly recommend that you check out the Indie Area Booth Livestream and get your hands on some amazing new games;

Out Of Place

Created by Bagpack Games, Out Of Place puts you in the middle of an adventure of a teenage protagonist and his machine companion.
When we managed to get our hands on this game; we were blown away by the beautiful handcrafted visuals and soundscapes.
It is definitely worth the gameplay.

Colt Canyon

It’s always refreshing to play a 2D Pixel Art Shooter especially when you’re playing as a cowboy (or another unlockable character) whose mission is to save his kidnapped partner from the ruthless bandits (it is the wild west after all!). The main mission is to get you and your Partner out of some hairy situations and get home, but of course, there are obstacles in your way and some scummy characters along the way!

What impressed us the most was that this small indie company; Retrific, is a German, one – man, independent game studio by Jonathon Mannshoven – who specialises on Gameplay that is focused 2D PC Games.

ELKS – Tales of Real Stories

We were intrigued by this title as we didn’t know what to expect as we stepped into the world of a young carpenter named; Frigg – traveling to Elk for an apprenticeship. She is used to an outgoing and hectic lifestyle in the big city. So, as you can imagine her life takes a different direction when she moves to Elk with only a few young people around her and no internet.

When we did jump into this world – we were pleasantly surprised at the feel-good vibes as we explored the narrative based on tales of real stories told by real people.

That’s not all there is to play!

There are still much more Indie Games to explore before making your way home from Gamescom, but we wanted to highlight our top picks. Check out the FULL list of games available HERE.

2. Magenta eTrophy

You cannot miss out on the finals of the Clash Royale and League of Legends tournaments will start in Gamescom event arena. You will be able to see the winners compete in a show match against the professionals from SK Gaming, where the professionals from SK will give an autograph session.

What’s exciting will be the highlights of the final games being shown in the Magenta Virtual Reality App in 360° Degrees.

3. Red Bull Gaming Ground

If you haven’t managed to check out Red Bull Gaming Ground then we strongly recommend that you check it out before you have to check out of Gamescom.

They have been entertaining Gamers (and us) all week with let’s play, community tournaments and the “Wings Talks”, Influencers and eSports Professionals.

Plus Musical Entertainment has been provided with DJs and other acts from the gaming scene – as well as the chilled, tasty drink of energy that is Red Bull. Why wouldn’t you visit?

So what can you look forward to seeing on Saturday?

The schedule for Saturday is pretty tight and packed with fun for every Gamer!

From 12:00 PM (Noon) – You will be welcomed with Velafee
1:00 PM – Jan Hegenberg LIVE on Stage.
2:00 PM – LET’S PLAY Red Bull Player One with BIG.
3:00 PM – LET’S PLAY Super Mario Maker 2 with KEDOS.
4:00 PM – BEATS’N’CANS with DJ_Energizer.

4. Pokemon Sword and Shield

If you haven’t seen the new trailer for Gamescom on Monday from Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase, where have you been?

We were privileged to see a tour of one of the quaint, English inspired towns across the Galar regions. We were treated to see a few landmarks and the Galarian Pokemon Center, Pokemon Research Lab where Professor Magnolia conducts her studies.

It was great to see the anticipated new trailer and it has also been incredible to get our hands on the game itself! We urge you to get in that queue before the end of Gamescom!

You are dropped into the water in the water – type gym, but when it comes to the battle it got interesting. Even though there isn’t much in terms of big change, except for the graphics i.e. When Sobble makes it rain, it pours throughout the move and when Scorbunny uses Ember, flames engulf the foe.

5. Enjoying the atmosphere and making the most of what you see

Cologne is a beautiful place and at Gamescom there is just so much to see! Which means that you may not be able to see everything that you planned or hoped to see – but the biggest advice that we can give you is to enjoy what you do get to see and experience at this massive Gaming event.

We know that the Queues can be extremely long and what you want to see may feel miles apart in the center, so it may be best for you to time how long you plan to stay in one area for.

Let us know!

We want to know what your experience at Gamescom has been like, so don’t forget to share with us on our Facebook and/or Twitter.
