I have to admit I love it when games have a specific visual style, use cool references, and feature a dominant color palette or unusual character shading. Simply put, I love it when a game doesn't follow the already well-trodden realistic style and doesn't look like just another Unreal Engine (5) title.

I spent a little over 20 hours in the game, although I believe I could have invested even more time to uncover all of its secrets. Looking at the complete package that MIO: Memories in Orbit offers, it is very easy to recommend it to all fans of the genre, as well as to those who have not yet tried Metroidvania games.
