There is nothing more frustrating when you are ready to game and you experience technical issues. If you have tested your STEALTH Headset to ensure that it is working correctly, please follow the below instructions to ensure the settings are correct.
Firstly, ensure your headset has been fully inserted into the controller and double-check the mic’s not been muted via the volume control switch found on the cable. You should be seeing a headset icon at the top right corner of the screen above the time.
*The setup is currently the same across all XBOX One and Series X|S consoles.
Once you press the Xbox button at the centre of your controller to access the home tab, you’ll be able to see a number of widgets.
Scroll from home to profile & systems > settings.

General > volume & audio output

Party chat output choose headset > headset audio > headset format > select windows sonic for headphones. Using HDMI/optical cable box remains unticked.

Press Xbox button on controller to access the home tab. Then access the audio widget along the bottom row, which looks like a speaker icon as shown below.

Once this is done, the next window you should see is below:

All that’s left to do now is configure your audio preferences.
N/B — Both the headset volume and the mic monitoring sliders can ideally be positioned anywhere from the middle to maximum, however, the headset chat mixer slider which is in the middle of the two, should only be positioned right bang in the middle, to be able to hear both gameplay and chat audio.
Once all is complete, your headset and mic should be working as intended on your XBOX console. Happy Gaming!
