Outside combat, Cadence and her crew explore regions with upgrade shops, chatty NPCs, and optional puzzles. While secondary, these activities add variety and pacing between the musical and combat highlights.

Death Howl sits right on the line between a very good game and a great game, but I lean more toward the former. The combat system and card crafting are fantastic and are the main reasons I enjoyed the game. If you like card games, you will like this one.
